BVCA is a charitable organization with the mission of “overcoming poverty by helping people, improving lives and strengthening communities.” Each year BVCA has touched the lives of over 12,000 low-to-moderate income persons in nine southeastern Nebraska counties. BVCA celebrates 50 years of service in 2016 and has mobilized resources to address family and community needs via opportunities within more than 30 programs with the desired outcome of increasing personal and family self-sufficiency and responsibility.
